TEMARIL-P Directions

  • - Use as directed by your veterinarian.
  • - Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.
  • - Store TEMARIL-P at room temperature.
  • - Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your dog seems to be improving or unless you consult with your veterinarian.
  • - Duration of administration depends on the condition being treated and the response to the medication.
  • - Dosage is based on your dog's weight.
  • - Allow your pet access to plenty of water.
  • - TEMARIL-P should be given with food.
  • - TEMARIL-P should be given every 12 hours.
  • - After 4 days, the dose is usually reduced to 1/2 of the initial dose.

Dosage for DOGS

Up to 10 pounds:

  • - Give 1/2 tablet.
  • - Give by mouth twice a day.
  • - After 4 days, reduce dosage to 1/4 tablet every 12 hours.

11-20 pounds:

  • - Give 1 tablet
  • - Give by mouth twice a day.
  • - After 4 days, reduce dosage to 1/2 tablet every 12 hours.

21-40 pounds:

  • - Give 2 tablets.
  • - Give by mouth twice a day.
  • - After 4 days, reduce dosage to 1 tablet every 12 hours.

Over 40 pounds:

  • - Give 3 tablets.
  • - Give by mouth twice a day.
  • - After 4 days, reduce dosage to 1.5 tablets every 12 hours.

Dosage FAQs

  • In the case of a missed dose of TEMARIL-P, give it as soon as you remember or wait until it is time to give the next dose. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF TEMARIL-P.
