TriTop Ointment Ingredients
TRITOP is available by prescription only.
TRITOP is indicated for dogs and cats with ear and skin conditions caused by neomycin-susceptible organisms and/or allergies.
TRITOP can be used as a superficial dressing applied to minor cuts, wounds, lacerations and abrasions, and for postsurgical application to help reduce pain and inflammation.
TRITOP is also effective in the treatment of acute otitis externa, chronic otitis externa, anal gland infections, and moist dermatitis.
TRITOP has three active ingredients:
- Neomycin sulfate
- Isoflupredone acetate
- Tetracaine HCl
Ointment comes in a 10 g tube with an applicator tip.
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
TRITOP is for use in dogs only.
Do not use if your pet is pregnant.
Neomycin can cause life-threatening side effects if used in cats.
Check to make sure your pet's tympanic membrane is intact before using TRITOP in or around the ear.
Long term use of TRITOP may delay your pet's ability to heal.
Wash your hands after application, or wear gloves while applying TRITOP.
Avoid contact with your eyes or your pet's eyes.
TRITOP should not be ingested. Do not let your pet lick the application site for at least 30 minutes after application.
Store at room temperature.
