If any of these side effects occur, you may keep giving TERBUTALINE, but contact your veterinarian.



Allergic reactions and more serious side effects
Allergic reactions and more serious side effects are rare, but in the case of an allergic reaction or a more serious side effect you should stop TERBUTALINE treatment and seek veterinary attention.  Some common allergic reactions and more serious side effects are...
    - facial swelling
    - breathing difficulties
    - hives
    - scratching
    - shock
    - sudden onset of diarrhea
    - frequent urination
    - coma
    - severe nausea and vomiting
    - seizures
    - pale gums
Directions
- Use as directed by your veterinarian
- Follow the instructions on the prescription label
- Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving or unless you consult with your veterinarian
- Duration of administration depends on the condition being treated and the response to the medication and development of any adverse effects
- Allow your pet access to plenty of water
- Store TERBUTALINE at room temperature



Dosage for DOGS
- 1.25 to 5 mg / dog
- Given by mouth 3 times a day

Dosage for CATS
- 0.05 to 0.1 mg / pound of body weight
- Given by mouth 2 times a day



Dosage FAQ's
- In the case of a missed dose of TERBUTALINE, give it as soon as you remember or just wait until it is time to give the next one.  DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF TERBUTALINE.
- In the case of an overdose of TERBUTALINE, seek attention from your veterinarian.
- The following symptoms could be signs of an overdose...
     - irregular heart beat
     - weakness
     - vomiting
     - fever
     - dilated pupils
     - seizures
