HEARTGARD Chewables for Cats are a once-a-month heartworm preventative and dewormer used in cats and kittens.

Possible Side Effects With Heartgard for Cats:

• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Nausea

Very few adverse side effects have been reported with HEARTGARD Chewables for Cats, however it is possible. If your pet experiences any of these symptoms, stop treatment and contact your veterinarian.

Directions
- Use as directed by your veterinarian
- Follow the instructions on the prescription label
- Store HEARTGARD for Cats at room temperature
- Do not use in kittens less than 6 weeks old
- Should be given once-a-month year-round
- Dosage is based on your cat's weight
- For cats weighing over 15 pounds, use a combination of 2 HEARTGARD tablets

Dosage for CATS
Cats and kittens weighing up to 5 pounds
Box color: RED
- 55 mcg / tablet
- Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month

Cats and kittens weighing 5 - 15 pounds
Box color: PURPLE
- 165 mcg / tablet
- Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month

Dosage FAQs
- In the case of a missed dose of HEARTGARD for Cats, give is as soon as you remember. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF HEARTGARD CHEWABLES FOR CATS.
