Cerenia is one of those rare drugs that comes along and dramatically changes treatment protocols in veterinary medicine. For vomiting dogs, it is the most commonly used symptomatic treatment. Although in really young dogs you must use this with caution, Cerenia has proven effective in treatment protocols for parvovirus enteritis, pancreatitis, and virtually any condition causing acute vomiting. Having this product available for treatment of acute vomiting has really been a plus to the pets I've treated. We have also used this product effectively for car sickness. Clients have told me that their pets have responded well to Cerenia tablets before travel. I really like this product.
If you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while administering Cerenia, contact your veterinarian immediately.
