  • Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a clear, colorless liquid used as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant drug.
  • DMSO is rapidly absorbed through the skin and distributed widely throughout the body.
  • DMSO has extensive solvent properties.
  • DMSO reduces pain and swelling.
  • DMSO is a potent antioxidant that kills free radicals, or disease causing molecules.
  • DMSO can carry other drugs through the skin.
DMSO Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Because DMSO can be rapidly absorbed through the skin, wear gloves when administering the gel.
  • DMSO may cause skin irritation.
  • Do not use in pregnant animals.
  • During DMSO treatment, frequent eye exams should be conducted.
  • During DMSO treatment, routine blood work is advised to monitor liver and kidney functions.
  • Store at room temperature.
  • Store protected from light and moisture.
DMSO Directions
  • Use as directed by your veterinarian.
