Incurin Basics
  • Incurin is available by prescription only.
  • Incurin is a synthetic estrogen.
  • Incurin is used to treat female dogs that suffer from urinary incontinence or "leaking."
  • The chemical ingredient in Incurin, estriol, increases the responsiveness of the smooth muscle of the bladder neck, tightening the muscle and preventing urine from leaking.
  • Incurin is available in 1 mg tablets.
  • Incurin tablets come in a box of 30.

Incurin Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to Incurin.
  • Never use this medication in pregnant or lactating animals, as it can cause abortions and birth defects.
  • Pregnant women, or women trying to become pregnant, should avoid contact with Incurin.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water after administration.
  • Although very rare, some estrogens have been associated with bone marrow changes and an increased risk of mammary tumors.
  • Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture.


Incurin Directions
  • Give as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.
  • Store at room temperature.
  • Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.
  • Allow your pet access to plenty of water.
  • Your pet's blood and platelet counts should be monitored on a regular basis during Incurin treatment.
  • Incurin is for use in dogs only.
  • Tablets should be administered orally.

Dosage FAQs
  • In the case of a missed dose of Incurin, give it as soon as you remember or wait until it is time to give the next dose. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF INCURIN.
  • In the case of an overdose of Incurin, seek attention from your veterinarian.
  • The following symptoms could be signs of an overdose...

  • increased thirst
  • unusual bruising or bleeding
  • swollen vulva
  • vaginal discharge

If you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while administering Incurin, contact your veterinarian immediately.

  • Allergic reactions and serious side effects are rare, but in the case of an allergic reaction or a serious side effect, you should stop Incurin and seek immediate veterinary attention.
