Methylprednisolone Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to methylprednisolone.
  • Do not use in pets that are pregnant or lactating.
  • Do not use with any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin.
  • Avoid use in animals with viral or fungal infections.
  • Do not give any vaccines during treatment with methylprednisolone.
  • Glucocorticoids can delay the healing process, so this drug should not be used before surgical procedures.

Methylprednisolone Directions

  • Store methylprednisolone at room temperature
  • Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.
  • Allow your pet access to plenty of drinking water while administering methylprednisolone.
  • Methylprednisolone should be given with food.
  • Do not stop methylprednisolone treatment suddenly.
  • There should be a gradual reduction in dosage before stopping treatment.
