Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic Basics
Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic is available by prescription only.
Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic is an ophthalmic solution that uses a number of ingredients to treat infections and inflammation found in and around the eye.
Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic contains three main ingredients:
Neomycin, an antibiotic
Polymyxin B, an antibiotic
Dexamethasone, a steroid

5 mL liquid suspension
3.5 gram ointment
Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Should not be used in eyes with ulcers.
Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic may interact with some other medications. Inform your veterinarian of any and all medications your pet may be taking, especially other eye medications.
Do not touch the tip of the tube with your hands or any other surface, as doing so could contaminate the solution.
Store at room temperature.
Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic Directions
Use as prescribed by your veterinarian.
Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.
Wash your hands before use.
Be sure not to touch the opening of the tube with your hands.
Keep the cap secured properly when not in use.
Store at room temperature.
Wait at least 10 minutes before applying any other eye medication to the same eye.
Complete the entire prescription, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.
Side effects from Neo-Poly-Dex Ophthalmic are rare. If any of these side effects do develop, contact your veterinarian immediately.
