Neo-Poly-Gram Ophthalmic Solution Basics
  • Neo-Poly-Gram is available by prescription only.
  • Neo-Poly-Gram is an ophthalmic solution used by veterinarians an extra-label treatment for eye infections.
  • Neo-Poly-Gram includes three bacteria fighting components:
  • Neomycin, an antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis
  • Polymyxin B, an antibiotic that makes bacterial cell walls easier to permeate
  • Gramicidin, an antibiotic that also increases cell wall permeability
  • Neo-Poly-Gram is available in 10 mL bottles.
Neo-Poly-Gram Ophthalmic Solution Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Use with caution in animals that are pregnant or nursing.
  • Neo-Poly-Gram may interact with some other medications. Inform your veterinarian of any and all medications your pet is taking, including...
  • Other antibiotics
  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
  • Do not administer Neo-Poly-Gram if your pet has known hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
  • Store at room temperature.
  • Neo-Poly-Gram is for use in the eye only.
  • Do not contaminate the dropper.
Neo-Poly-Gram Directions
  • Use as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.
  • Store ophthalmic solution at room temperature.
  • Do not allow the tip of the dropper to touch any surface, including your hands or your pet's eye. Contamination of the dropper could cause infection to spread or worsen.
  • Do not use Neo-Poly-Gram within 5 minutes of any other eye medications.
If you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while administering Neo-Poly-Gram, contact your veterinarian immediately.
