Ondansetron Compound Basics

Ondansetron Compound treats severe vomiting in cats and dogs, such as the vomiting associated with chemotherapy. This medication inhibits serotonin responses to effectively treat vomiting. It is used as an extra-label drug by veterinarians. Ondansetron requires a prescription from your veterinarian. It is available as a transdermal ear gel.
