Orbax is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat...

Orbax belongs to a class of drugs known as fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Fluoroquinolones kill susceptible strains of bacteria by preventing their DNA from unwinding, thus preventing the bacterial DNA from duplicating.
Orbax is available in an oral suspension form.
Orbax Oral Suspension is available in a 20 mL bottle.
Orbax Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Orbax should not be used in pets that are pregnant or lactating.
Orbax should not be used in animals with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to this drug or any other fluoroquinolone antibiotic.
Orbax can cause damage to joint cartilage.
Do not use Orbax in puppies younger than 28 weeks of age.
Notify your veterinarian if your pet has had seizures or any other central nervous problem.
Orbax may react with some other medications. Inform your veterinarian of any and all medications your pet may be taking, especially...

Orbax Directions
Use as directed by your veterinarian.
Follow the instructions on the prescription label.
Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture.
Allow your pet access to plenty of water.
Orbax may be given with or without food.
Complete the entire prescription, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.
