Palladia is available by prescription only.
Palladia is used to treat mast cell tumors in dogs.
Palladia works by inhibiting an enzyme thought to cause tumor growth, especially in dogs.

Palladia Warnings
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Palladia is not for use in humans. Humans should not come into direct contact with vomit, urine, or feces of pets taking Palladia. Use caution when handling Palladia and any excretions from your pet while they are on Palladia.
Wear gloves when handling any pet waste materials or broken or moist tablets.
Dispose of your pet's waste material in a sealed plastic bag.
Women who are pregnant or nursing should be especially careful when handling Palladia.
Store tablets at room temperature.
Protect tablets from moisture.
Do not use in pets that are pregnant or nursing.
Surgery should not be preformed on your pet within three days of taking Palladia.
Palladia is not for use in the treatment of mastocytosis.
Use with caution in pets less than 2 years old or weighing less than 11 pounds.

Use as directed by your veterinarian.
Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.
Palladia may be given with or without food.
Tablets should not be broken.
Do not expose tablets to moisture.
Handle Palladia tablets carefully, and use gloves to dispose of any waste your animal may produce.
Palladia Dosage
Give 1.48 mg / pound of body weight.
Give by mouth every other day.
If you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while administering Palladia, contact your veterinarian immediately.Serious Side Effects
Serious side effects are possible while using Palladia. In rare cases, serious gastrointestinal ulceration can occur. If you believe gastrointestinal ulceration is occurring, contact your veterinarian immediately.
