Polyglycan Basics
  • Polyglycan is available by prescription only.
  • Polyglycan Sterile Solution contains the naturally occurring components of joint fluid.
  • Polyglycan is used to replace lost joint fluid due to a surgical procedure.
  • Polyglycan SA comes in 2.5 mL vials and is used in small animals.
Polyglycan Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Discard unused Polyglycan.
  • Use sterile technique when injecting.
  • Polyglycan should only be injected intra-articularly.
  • Infection can occur if sterile technique is not used.
Polyglycan Directions:
  • Polygylcan should be used by or under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
  • Polygylcan should be refrigerated when possible. DO NOT FREEZE.
  • Dosage varies. Ask your veterinarian for exact dosage information.
If you notice any behavioral or physiological changes in your pet while administering Polyglycan, contact your veterinarian immediately.
