Senergy is a topical solution that collects in the oils of the skin and in the hair follicles. It is absorbed into the body and circulates through the blood stream.
Senergy relies on a semi-synthetic avermectin antiparasitic agent called selamectin. Selamectin acts on parasites by interfering with the nervous system.

Senergy for Cats Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Senergy is not intended for human use.
Do not use Senergy if your pet has already been given another form of heartworm prevention.
Do not use in cats younger than 8 weeks of age.
Senergy should not be used in animals with known hypersensitivity to the selamectin.
Hair loss and irritation can occur at the site of application.
Store at room temperature.
