Torsemide Compound treats congestive heart failure. This diuretic is ten times more potent than furosemide, another diuretic used to treat congestive heart failure. It works by preventing sodium and chloride from being reabsorbed. Torsemide is prescribed legally by veterinarians as an extra-label drug.
Torsemide Compound requires a prescription from your veterinarian. It is available as an oral suspension.
