Triglyceride Omega-3 (ALLERG-3) is a really good and effective fatty acid supplement. We use this product as part of a multi-dimensional effort to control atopy and allergic skin diseases in dogs. I have seen very positive results when we have combined Triglyceride Omega-3 with antibiotics and topical antibacterial and antifungal shampoos (such as MALASEB SHAMPOO). In doing so, we have been able to avoid chronic corticosteroid usage. This method of controlling allergies is much better and healthier for your pet than allergy (steroid) injections. It is important to recognize that in order to protect your pet in the most effective way, you must be consistent in giving the medications. With the multi-dimensional approach, your pet will be much less likely to have negative side effects. It is hard work but very rewarding.
