  • Zeniquin is one of the longest lasting fluoroquinolones and is effective in treating serious bacterial infections.
  • Zeniquin works by inhibiting the bacterial enzyme, DNA gyrase, which is responsible for DNA replication.
  • Zeniquin is available in 3 different sized tablets:
  • 25 mg
  • 50 mg
  • 100 mg

Zeniquin Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Zeniquin is for use in animals only.
  • Do not use Zeniquin in animals that are sensitive to fluoroquinolones.
  • Use Zeniquin with extreme caution in animals that are nursing or pregnant.
  • Use with caution in young animals.
  • Use with caution in animals with Central Nervous System disorders.
  • Do not give Zeniquin for 2 hours following the use of a carafate or antacid.
  • Always complete the entirety of a prescription. Stopping antibiotic treatment early can cause serious health risks and an increase in antibiotic resistance.

  • small and medium breed dogs younger than 8 months old
  • large breeds younger than 12 months old
  • giant breeds younger than 18 months old
  • Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture.


Zeniquin Directions
  • Use as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Follow the instructions on the prescription label.
  • Store Zeniquin at room temperature.
  • Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.
  • Treatment should last no longer than 30 days.
  • Store protected from light and moisture.

  • In the case of a missed dose of Zeniquin, give it as soon as you remember or wait until it is time to give the next dose. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF ZENIQUIN.
