• Zonisamide is for use in dogs.

• Zonisamide comes in three different strengths:

• 25 mg

• 50 mg

• 100 mg

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Do not use in pets that are pregnant or nursing.

• Do not use in pets with known allergies to sulfa drugs.

• Do not stop giving zonisamide suddenly. Pets should be gradually taken off of zonisamide.

• Store at room temperature.

• Store capsules away from light and moisture.

• Use as directed by your veterinarian.

• Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.

• Zonisamide can be given with or without food.

• Giving zonisamide with food may decrease the chances of stomach upset.

• Be sure to gradually decrease zonisamide treatment. Suddenly stopping treatment can cause serious side effects.

• Store tablets at room temperature protected from light and moisture.

• Stopping zonisamide treatment suddenly could cause an increase in seizures.

• Do not give zonisamide to pregnant pets. Birth defects could occur if zonisamide is given to a pregnant dog.
