Clemastine- NO LONGER CARRY

• Clemastine is available by prescription only.

• Clemastine is an antihistamine used to treat allergies and allergic reactions in dogs and cats.

• Clemastine slows down the spread of inflammation and itchiness by preventing histamines from binding to histamine receptors.

• Since the histamines cannot bind to the receptors, the blood vessels start to constrict.

• As the blood vessels get smaller, blood flow slows down, thus slowing the spread of histamines throughout the body.

• Clemastine is available in 2 sizes of tablet:

• 2.68 mg

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Do not use in pets with a known hypersensitivity to clemastine.

• Use caution in animals suffering from...

• glaucoma

• enlarged prostate

• severe heart failure

• obstructions of the urinary tract

• obstruction of the GI tract

• Use with caution in animals that are pregnant or lactating.

• Store at room temperature.

• Store protected from light and moisture.

• Give as directed by your veterinarian.

• Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.

• Store clemastine at room temperature.

• Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.

• Allow your pet access to plenty of water to drink.

• Clemastine should be given with food.

• In the case of a missed dose of clemastine, give it as soon as you remember, or wait until it is time to give the next dose. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF CLEMASTINE.

• In the case of an overdose of clemastine, seek attention from your veterinarian.
