Methocarbamol is available by prescription only.
Methocarbamol acts on the central nervous system to relax the muscles.
Methocarbamol reduces muscle tremors and spasms caused by various diseases, trauma, or acute inflammation.
Methocarbamol is often used to treat spasms caused by slipped disks or intervertebral disk disease in dogs.
Methocarbamol may also be used to help control the effects of strychnine, tetanus, and permethrin poisoning.

Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not use in any animal with a known hypersensitivity to methocarbamol.
Use with caution in animals that are pregnant or lactating.
Do not use in animals with kidney disease.
Inform your veterinarian if your pet is taking any other medications or supplements.
The sedative effects of methocarbamol increase if used with other drowsiness-inducing drugs.
