  • Prazosin acts as a vasodilator to relax the smooth muscles found throughout the body. By relaxing the muscles surrounding the vascular system, blood pressure is lowered, making it easier for the heart to pump blood more efficiently through the body.

Prazosin Compound Warnings
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Prazosin is not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating animals.
  • Prazosin may cause dizziness and disorientation.
  • Wash your hands after administering prazosin.
  • Store at room temperature.
  • Store protected from moisture.


Prazosin Compound Directions
  • Use as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.
  • Store prazosin at room temperature.
