• Methylprednisolone is a steroid used to reduce swelling and decrease the body's immune response.

• Do not use in pets that are pregnant or lactating.

• Do not use with any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin.

• Avoid use in animals with viral or fungal infections.

• Do not give any vaccines during treatment with methylprednisolone.

• Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving, unless instructed otherwise by your veterinarian.

• Allow your pet access to plenty of drinking water while administering methylprednisolone.

• Methylprednisolone should be given with food.

• Do not stop methylprednisolone treatment suddenly.

• There should be a gradual reduction in dosage before stopping treatment.

• In the case of a missed dose of methylprednisolone, give it as soon as you remember or wait until it is time to give the next dose. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF METHYLPREDNISOLONE.
