Clindamycin drops are available by prescription only.
Clindamycin drops are a narrow spectrum antibiotic used to fight bacterial infections in dogs and cats.
Clindamycin drops raise the white blood cell count and help prevent the spread of bacteria.
Clindamycin is especially useful in treating infections in the mouth.
Clindamycin drops act on bacteria by inhibiting the production of proteins, thus stopping the growth of susceptible strains of bacteria.
Clindamycin drops are available in a 20 mL bottle.
Clindamycin Drops Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not use in animals with known sensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin.
Do not take clindamycin drops at the same time as erythromycin.
Consult your veterinarian if your animal is pregnant or nursing.
Clindamycin drops can interact with other medications, so make sure to tell your veterinarian if your pet is on any other medications.
