Clindamycin Drops

• Clindamycin drops are available by prescription only.

• Clindamycin drops are a narrow spectrum antibiotic used to fight bacterial infections in dogs and cats.

• Clindamycin drops raise the white blood cell count and help prevent the spread of bacteria.

• Clindamycin is especially useful in treating infections in the mouth.

• Clindamycin drops act on bacteria by inhibiting the production of proteins, thus stopping the growth of susceptible strains of bacteria.

• Clindamycin drops are available in a 20 mL bottle.

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Do not use in animals with known sensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin.

• Do not take clindamycin drops at the same time as erythromycin.

• Consult your veterinarian if your animal is pregnant or nursing.

• Clindamycin drops can interact with other medications, so make sure to tell your veterinarian if your pet is on any other medications.
