• Ivermectin helps to eliminate intestinal parasites, such as hookworms.

• Ivermectin works by interfering with the nerve transmission of the immature heartworms and hookworms.

• Heartgard for Cats comes in flavored chewable tablets.

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Heartgard for Cats should be given monthly.

• Store at room temperature.

• Keep away from light.

• Store protected from exposure to moisture.

• Administer as directed by your veterinarian.

• Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.

• Store Heartgard for Cats at room temperature.

• Do not use Heartgard for Cats in kittens less than 6 weeks old.

• Give Heartgard once a month, year-round.

• Dosage is based on your cat's weight.

• For cats weighing over 15 pounds, use a combination of 2 Heartgard tablets.

• Give one 55 mcg tablet by mouth once every 30 days.

• Give one 165 mcg tablet by mouth once every 30 days.

• In the case of a missed dose of Heartgard for Cats, give it as soon as you remember. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF HEARTGARD CHEWABLES FOR CATS.
