• Iverhart Plus is used to treat:

• heartworms

• microfilaria, or the microscopic offspring of heart worms

• hookworms

• roundworms

• The active ingredients in Iverhart Plus are...

• ivermectin

• pyrantel pamoate

• Ivermectin and pyrantel pamoate work together to control a wide spectrum of parasites by causing neurological damage to the parasites.

• Iverhart Plus is available in various sizes according to your dog's weight:

• up to 25 pounds (Blue box)

• 26 to 50 pounds (Green box)

• 51 to 100 pounds (Brown box)

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Iverhart Plus should not be used in dogs with known allergies to ivermectin.

• Use caution when administering Iverhart Plus to collies or collie mixed breeds due to potential toxic effects.

• Periodic testing for heartworms should be done prior to giving Iverhart Plus.

• Avoid giving this drug to dogs that are less than 6 weeks of age.

• Store at room temperature.

• Store protected from light and moisture.

• Give as directed by your veterinarian.

• Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.

• Store at room temperature.

• Give once monthly, year round.

• Do not use in puppies less than 6 weeks old.

• Dosage is based on your pet's weight.

• Use a combination of 2 tablets for dogs over 100 pounds.

• Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month.

• Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month.

• Give a combination of 2 chewable tablets according to your dog's weight.

• Give 2 tablets by mouth once a month.

• In the case of a missed dose of Iverhart Plus, give it as soon as you remember or wait until it is time to give the next dose. DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF IVERHART PLUS.

• Overdose cases are rare, but some symptoms may include:

• vomiting

• diarrhea

• Contact your veterinarian immediately if you think an overdose has occurred.
