- Large strongyles (strongylus vulgaris, S.edentatus, S.equinus)

Pyrantel pamoate is usually dosed in dogs and in cats at 2.5 to 5 mg per pound (5 to 10 mg/kg) once, repeated in three weeks.
- Pinworms (Oxyuris equi)
- Administer as a top dress on horse's daily ration.
- Feed at the rate of 1.2mg pyrantel tartrate per pound of body weight per day.
- Use as directed by your veterinarian.
- Follow the instructions on the prescription label.
- Store Pyrantel Pamoate at room temperature.
- Be sure to complete the prescription to ensure a full recovery, even if your pet seems to be improving or unless you consult with your veterinarian.
- Duration of administration depends on the condition being treated and the response to the medication and development of any adverse effects.
- Administer orally.
- Pyrantel Pamoate should not be used in debilitated animals
- Do not mix in feeds containing bentonite
- Not for use in horses intended for food
