- EPM is caused by Sarcocystis neurona, a parasite.
- Each syringe contains 127 grams of paste.
- Each gram of paste contains 150 mg of ponazuril.
- Start administering Marquis by putting the syringe tip into the side of your horse’s mouth at the space between the front and back teeth.
- Deposit the paste onto the horse’s tongue by pressing the plunger of the syringe as far as the dosage ring permits.
- Remove the tip of the syringe from the horse’s mouth.
