• Ofloxacin inhibits the enzyme DNA gyrase in bacterial DNA, thus inhibiting bacterial DNA from replicating and repairing.

• Ofloxacin is used as an extra-label drug in veterinary medicine.

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• Do not use in pets with known sensitivity to fluoroquinolones.

• Store in the refrigerator.

• Do not use if the color of the medication changes or clouds.

• Do not dispose of medication through the sewer system.

• Ofloxacin should not be used as a precautionary drug to prevent infection.

• Ofloxacin is for topical use only. Do not ingest, or let your pet ingest, ofloxacin.

• If your pet's condition worsens or does not improve after one week, contact your veterinarian.

• Use as directed by your veterinarian.

• Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.

• Do not put any other medication in your pet's eye for five minutes after applying ofloxacin.

• Crystals may form in the eye while using ofloxacin.

• Apply one drop to the affected eye 3-12 times daily.
