• NexGard is for use in puppies 8 weeks of age and older and dogs weighing more than 4 pounds.

• The active ingredient in NexGard is afoxolaner.

• Afoxolaner blocks the transfer of chloride ions in insect cells, attacking the central nervous system of fleas and ticks.

• NexGard comes in beef-flavored chews.

• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.

• NexGard is not intended for human consumption.

• For use in dogs only

• Some dogs vomited after receiving NexGard.

• If your pet vomits immediately after receiving NexGard, you may give another full dose.

• Use with caution in pets that are pregnant or nursing.

• Use Nexgard with caution if your dog has a history of seizures.

• Use as directed by your veterinarian.

• Follow the instructions printed on the prescription label.

• NexGard should be given once every month.

• NexGard can be given with or without food.

• For pets weighing over 121 pounds, give two chews equaling the appropriate weight of the pet.

• 4 - 10 pounds- Package color: Orange

• Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month

• 10.1 - 24 pounds- Package color: Blue

• Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month

• 24.1 - 60 pounds- Package color: Purple

• Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month

• 60.1 - 121 pounds- Package color: Red

• Give 1 tablet by mouth once a month

• In the case of a missed dose of NexGard, give the dose as soon as you remember.

• DO NOT GIVE A DOUBLE DOSE OF NEXGARD.

• Vomiting has occurred in pets taking NexGard. If your dog vomits immediately after receiving NexGard, another full dose may be given.
